It’s been nearly 3 years since Khabib Nurmagomedov fought inside the Octagon. The win came over Rafael dos Anjos who went on to ultimately win the UFC lightweight championship.

It all started with a premature tap by young Sage Northcutt (7-1 MMA) in the half-guard position. While the UFC has yet to officially announce that Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson will go down at UFC on FOX 19 on April 16th, ‘The Eagle’ posted a photo and a video on Instagram. The photo showed the contract which states that Nurmagomedov will fight Ferguson on April 16th 2016. In the caption of the video, Nurmagomedov revealed that the “winner gets everything” leading many to believe the bout is in fact a title eliminator.
