Undefeated Russian standout Khabib Nurmagomedov improved his record to a perfect 26-0 in the healiner of last night’s UFC 223 event in Brooklyn defeating Al Iaquinta via unanimous decision.

With the victory, “The Eagle” was crowned the promotions new undisputed UFC lightweight champion.

Nurmagomedov took to Instagream a few hours ago where he issued the following post thanking his supporters.

“Thank you so much for everyone, who pray for this victory” – Khabib Nurmagomedov

Following his dominant victory over the very game New Yorker Al Iaquinta, “The Eagle” proceeded to callout UFC legend Georges St-Pierre for a super-fight.

“If I beat Conor (McGregor) or I beat GSP (Georges St-Pierre) which one do you think is bigger for my legacy? Of course it is GSP. GSP is the greatest athlete to ever compete in the UFC. He’s the former UFC welterweight and middleweight champion. I hear that he wants to come back and that he can make 155-pounds. I respect this guy. It would be an honor to fight him.”
