Israel Adesanya Booked for Violent UFC Glendale Card Against Marvin Vettori

By Justin Golightly - February 24, 2018

After his masterful performance against Rob Wilkinson at UFC 221 followed by a ceremonial ‘marking of his territory’, The Last Style Bender Israel Adesanya wanted to jump right back into the Octagon and continue his now 12-fight win streak in MMA, which is just a small blip next to his nearly 60 victories in kickboxing and boxing combined. It looks like he got his wish, Adesanya will fight former Venator FC welterweight champion, Marvin Vettori at UFC Glendale.

Israel Adesanya

“This is all stuff I’ve prepared for and planned for. This feels like déjà vu and I’m just waiting. Don’t protect me, I don’t need it. I’m ready to kick the door down so let’s go all in son. Look at my stand-up last week, that was just me testing the waters and picking him apart. I didn’t even show 3-percent of what I could do. That’s just my stand up alone and people haven’t even seen my grappling yet.”—Israel Adesanya speaking to MMA NYTT.

This latest mach-up that is destined not to disappoint is just one more speak on absolute fire UFC card headlined by Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje, with Carlos Condit and Matt Brown in the co-main event. Israel Adesanya didn’t take any damage in his last fight and made a great decision jumping right into this because this is the perfect card to showcase his stylish dissection again.

Dustin Poirier vs. Justin Gaethje
