UFC welterweight slugger Lorenz “The Monsoon” Larkin (16-4 MMA) recently sat down with BJPENN.com’s Chris Taylor to discuss a number of topics, one of those being the UFC’s revamped drug policy.

Larkin is happy that the UFC has implemented year-round drug testing for fighters but doesn’t feel the penalty for those caught on steroids is stiff enough, his words:

“I think that any fighter who gets popped for steroids should be banned for life from fighting.” stated Larkin.

Lorenz Larkin has gone 2-0 since making the drop to the UFC’s welterweight division.

“The Monsoon” was most recently seen in action at June’s UFC Fight Night 70 event, where he scored a second-round TKO victory over Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Do you agree with Larkin that fighters caught using steroids should receive a lifetime ban from the sport? Sound off Penn Nation!
