Gary Goodridge: “I don’t like Daniel Cormier. — He’s just a little punk ass kid.” – Exclusive
If you missed Monday’s BJPenn.com Radio show then you missed MMA legend Gary Goodridge’s harsh words towards current UFC light-heavyweight, Daniel Cormier.
Goodridge was asked if he had any favorite fighters.
“I’m a Jon Jones fan. I love Jon Jones. I don’t like — who’s he fighting now? —Daniel Cormier, DC. I don’t like Daniel. Although, he’s good, I’m just a Jon Jones fan. Ever since he came out and he did all those flashy things I loved him — to be good at this sport, the point where this sport is, you’ve got to do flashy things and things that are unorthodox.”
Goodridge continued:
“I hope that [Jones] pulls off Daniel Cormier’s head and shoves it up his ass.”
“I don’t like Daniel Cormier. — He’s just a little punk ass kid.”
Some harsh words from a legend. Any thoughts on Goodridge’ dislike of Cormier? Too harsh or are they warranted?
