Artem Lobov and Jason Knight share classy exchange after BKFC 5 war

Last night, on the main card of BKFC 5, UFC veterans Artem Lobov and Jason Knight engaged in one of the best fights of the year so far, hammering each other into bloody messes for five frenzied rounds, with Lobov ultimately earning a unanimous decision win.

This brutal bare knuckle brawl unsurprisingly left both Lobov and Knight with significant cosmetic damage. Post-fight, photos of both men have been floating around social media.

This photo prompted Jason Knight to send a message to Artem Lobov, offering him a message of respect for giving him the kind of fight he’s always wanted.

“We may look rough , but @RusHammerMMA gave me the fight iv always wanted !!! Much respect brother!!! Good luck in your future endevors!!” – Jason Knight on Twitter.

It did not take long for Artem Lobov to respond to this comment, commending Knight on the scrap, and offering to send him some drinks to help with what’s sure to be a painful recovery.

“Like wise Jason!! Serious scrap that was!! DM me your address so I can send you some nice drinks to help the healing” – Artem Lobov on Twitter

With his victory over Jason Knight, which marked a successful BKFC debut, Lobov sets up a grudge match with retired boxer Paulie Malignaggi. The two arch rivals will meet in the main event of the BKFC 6 pay-per-view in June.

Jason Knight, meanwhile, will have to return to the drawing board, though he can probably look forward to a rematch with Lobov sometime down the road.
