George Jarvis targets redemption against Sinsamut at ONE Fight Night 41: “Perfect matchup”

George “G-Unit” Jarvis is back on the hunt, and he’s making no secret of exactly what this fight means to him. The 25-year-old British striker returns to the ring at ONE Fight Night 41: Sinsamut vs. Jarvis on Prime Video on Friday, March 13, live in U.S. primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Standing across from him is former world title challenger Sinsamut “Aquaman” Klinmee — a fighter Jarvis has been calling for ever since his ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title bid against Regian Eersel ended inside 84 seconds last August.
That night was brutal. Eersel’s right hand put a stop to everything Jarvis had worked toward. But instead of letting it fester, the Lumpini Crawley product has used it as fuel. He went back to basics, stripped his game down, and rebuilt with a sharper, more focused version of himself.
“It was the worst part of my career, mentally and physically, and everything led up to that moment. I was so confident I was gonna get it, and when I didn’t get it, it brought me back down to earth. It’s been quite a good little reset button, if I’m honest. I’ve gone back to basics, I’ve gone back to finding out who I really am, and this camp by far has been absolutely amazing,” Jarvis said.

George Jarvis isn’t just ready for Sinsamut Klinmee — he’s obsessed with him. The British striker has studied his Thai opponent relentlessly, and he believes the matchup suits him perfectly. A win here, he knows, puts him straight back in the title picture.
The reset after the Eersel loss wasn’t just physical. Jarvis made a deliberate decision to stop trying to be something he’s not. The best version of “G-Unit” has always been the aggressive, pressure-based Muay Thai striker who controls the pace and makes life uncomfortable for everyone. That’s the fighter showing up on Friday.
Jarvis carries zero doubt about the game plan or where this victory leads. He’s identified Sinsamut’s power as a real threat — the Thai slugger holds an 80 percent knockout rate in ONE and an 83-21 professional record — but views those dangers as exactly the kind of test he needs right now.
“Sinsamut is a very, very good all-rounded fighter. Obviously he’s a Thai fighter, so he comes with that traditional Muay Thai style. But he mixes it up well, he’s had a good few knockouts, so he’s obviously got power. But anyone’s got power in them [4-ounce] gloves. You only gotta get touched in them gloves, and it’s ‘Good Night, Irene,’ as they used to say.
“But it’s a perfect fight for what I want to do. A lot of pressure. I’m happy to go to war. But I can also sit back and have a good technical fight, so I’m not gonna give too much away. But this game plan that we’ve got, I feel it’s gonna work out perfectly in my favor,” Jarvis said.
