Kristian Prenga promises to ruin Anthony Joshua’s plans to fight Tyson Fury: “He made a terrible miscalculation”

Kristian Prenga is vowing to shock the world when he steps inside the ring with Anthony Joshua on July 25.
Joshua vs. Prenga was announced on Monday. The heavyweight clash will be taking place in Riyadh. This will be Joshua’s first fight since the tragic losses of his personal trainer, Latif Ayodele, and his strength coach Sina Ghami in a car accident. Joshua survived the crash and is able to continue his prizefighting career.
In a press release hyping up the Prenga bout, Joshua admitted that he had to take some time off before he was ready to resume his boxing career.
“It’s no secret I’ve taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready for stepping back into the ring, and today is the next step on that journey,” Joshua said. “I’m delighted to have agreed a multi-flight deal starting with July 25th in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I’m looking forward to competing and picking up where I left off.”
Prenga has respect for Joshua, but he made it clear in the press release that he isn’t one to be taken lightly.
“Anthony Joshua is a great fighter, but he made a terrible miscalculation in picking me as his opponent,” Prenga said. “This is the kind of fight that changes everything in my life and his. I know they have big plans ahead after this fight. I know they are overlooking me. I’m happy about that. I will derail their plans and shock the world this July in Saudi Arabia.”
The bigger picture is Joshua vs. Fury, which is the plan if Joshua can get past Prenga. If the 35-year-old Prenga can score a big upset, he could be in line for at least one major payday.
