Andre Fili pressed when he needed to and placed a well timed head kick before the end of the first round.

Gabriel Benitez (18-5-0) has never fought outside his home country of Mexico in his UFC career(2-0), and will be trying to make it three straight wins Saturday night. Standing in his way is Andre Fili (14-3-0), who’s had a bit of a rough start in his time in the octagon (2-2) and really needs a statement win to start building relevance in the featherweight division.

With this knockout win in “highlight worthy” fashion, Fili fighting out of Team Alpha Male has sights passed just being relevant but becoming a contender.  In the industry of entertainment you simply must perform and perform he did.
