‘UFC Fight Night 51’: Andrade Taps Out Newcomer Pacheco in First Round

September 13, 2014 5:28 pm by Jonathan Kirschner

Jessica Andrade welcomed newcomer Larissa Pacheco to the octagon in brutal fashion, by submitting her in the opening round with a guillotine crank.

Despite possessing a size advantage and a seven-inch reach, Pacheco could not get any momentum going. Andrade’s strategy was to put her on her back right away and that is exactly what she did. She wrestled her way to mount and slapped on a guillotine; Pacheco was trapped and had nowhere to go. She submitted and the referee waved the fight off.

Was it octagon jitters that cost Pacheco the fight? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
