Henry Cejudo

Chris Cariaso and Henry Cejudo kicked off “UFC 185” with a busy flyweight bout. Cariaso and Cejudo lived up to the fast-paced style of action flyweights are synonymous for and neither man stopped working to improve their situation. Lucky for Cejudo, his elite wrestling skills gave him the upperhand for almost the entire fight.

There were glimmers of hope for Cariaso whenever he landed swift body kicks, but Cejudo would often cut off his opponent’s attacks with takedowns where he would take control. By the time the fight ended, Cejudo had doubled Cariaso’s strikes and landed six takedowns.

The gold medal olympian walked out of the octagon without taking any serious punishment and with another win on his impressive record.

Henry Cejudo def. Chris Cariaso by way of Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
