Rampage: ‘Bellator Was Like Minor Leagaues’

January 4, 2015 5:28 pm by BJPENN.COM News

Last month it was announced that Quinton Rampage Jackson would be returning to the UFC after going 3-0 under the Bellator MMA banner.

The signing came as a shock to many, given Rampage’s issues with the UFC that were publicly documented.

Now that he is back, Rampage spoke prior to UFC 182 about his desire to fight as soon as possible now that he is done with the ‘minor league’.

His words:

“My friends and family didn’t want to say it, but it was like a major league baseball player going to the minor leagues. They were like, ‘Man, what the hell are you doing?’ I guess I made a big boo boo. I want to get in [the Octagon] as soon as possible, get back to work, man-up and do my thing. I’m flying my team in from the UK now, Wolfslair, now that the holidays are over.”

Who do you want to see Rampage face when he returns?
