Last night in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night Stockholm, Dan Henderson was stopped for just the second time in his MMA career. The TKO loss came at the hands of Gegard Mousasi, who bounced back from a submission loss to Jacare Souza with his win over Henderson.

Mousasi spoke post-fight to discuss the win, saying:

“I was in very good shape coming in. I came to fight and it shows. I wanted to bang with Henderson and once I landed the shot, I waited for a second because I thought he was out, but it wasn’t stopped and I landed two more punches, then it was stopped.”

“Everyone knows Dan isn’t in his prime anymore, but he’s always dangerous. For me I just have to do my job. I’m back in the line for the title shot, but there are so many guys ahead of me. Luke, Machida, Jacare – it’s one of the toughest divisions in the UFC.”
