With UFC Flyweight fighter, Darrel Montague injured, a shift to March’s UFC 171 event has been made.
In for Montague comes undefeated prospect, Justin Scoggins, who will now face UFC veteran, Will Campuzano, on the evenings preliminary card.
UFC 171 goes down from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. In the main event, Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler will compete for the UFC’c vacant welterweight world title.
Scoggins, an American Top Team product, is coming into this fight on the heels of his successful UFC debut. He last saw action in December where he earned a first round TKO stoppage over Richie Vaculik.
Campuzano last saw action welcoming Sergio Pettis to the UFC’s eight-sided-cage at UFC 167. It was a bout he lost, snapping a five-fight win streak and making him 0-3 in the UFC.
