Jose Aldo has officially pulled out of UFC 189. The news came from Dana White himself, who appeared on ESPN with Conor McGregor and said that the featherweight champion has pulled out of the title fight because of his rib injury.
This makes it five times that the featherweight king has pulled out of a title defense while in the UFC.
This was the reason for an interim title, said White, while on ESPN, who seemed understandably disappointed.
