Early Saturday morning news broke that Thiago Alves had been forced out of his ‘UFC Fight Night: Seoul’ main event bout with Benson Henderson as a result of a broken rib.
The UFC and Henderson were both searching for an opponent to step in on short notice and fight on November 28th, and they have found their man according to MMAFighting!
Jorge Masvidal, who was slated to fight Dong Hyun Kim in the co-main event will now be facing Henderson in the main event.
So far there has been no word as to whether or not Dong Hyun Kim will get a new opponent for the event, but given that Kim is from South Korea, the UFC will likely find him a replacement opponent.
Masvidal is coming off a KO win over Cezar Ferreira back in July. The win put Masvidal back in the win column after having his 3-fight win streak snapped by Al Iaquinta.
