In a recent report it was revealed that three weeks prior to UFC 152, an email containing Vitor Belfort’s drug test results, which showed extremely high levels of testosterone, was emailed out from the UFC to several manager and fighters, on accident.
The UFC then quickly worked to retract the email, telling recipients to ignore it and to delete is ASAP.
Obviously we know that Belfort still fought the, then current champ, Jon Jones. So, according to the report, the UFC knowingly allowed him to fight even with his questionable test results.
As you might imagine, Jones wasn’t to pleased when he heard the news. According to his manager, Malki Kawa, the fighter was ‘very angry’ about the findings.
