Edgar-Swanson, Green-Barboza Slated For UFC Fight Night 57

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced two new bouts with heavy implications.

Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson have agreed to a five-rounder and will headline UFC Fight night 57 in November. The winner will likely face Jose Aldo for the UFC Featherweight world title.

Also announced on the fight card is a lightweight bout between Bobby Green and Edson Barboza. A win for Green should put him in serious title contention.

UFC Tonight on FOX Sports 1 announced the bouts during tonight’s broadcast on FOX Sports 1.
