Edgar: ‘It would be a shame if someone else took the title from Aldo’

Frankie Edgar is currently gearing up for his UFC Fight Night 57 main event bout against Cub Swanson tonight, a bout which could potentially have title implications. Leading up to the bout, Edgar knows he needs a dominant win in order to get a title shot against Jose Aldo in a stacked featherweight division.

He spoke to The Cauldron about the bout.

“I want to go there and dominate. Not leave any questions when I walk out of the cage on who the winner was. I’m ready for what comes.”

“It would be a shame not to get the title from [Aldo], be the person to take it from him,”
