Dodson wants undefeated prospect at bantamweight

Veteran UFC flyweight John Dodson is coming off his 2nd loss to Demetrious Johnson in a title fight, and with a long road back to a 3rd title shot, Dodson is turning his sights to the bantamweight division.

According to Ariel Helwani on UFC Tonight, Dodson is specifically looking to fight undefeated prospect Thomas Almeida, who is fresh off a KO win this past Saturday at ‘UFC FN: Sao Paulo.’ Dodson reportedly texted UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby to request the matchup.

Dodson and Almeida are two of the most exciting fighters in the UFC’s lower weight classes, and a matchup would likely deliver nothing less than fireworks.

How do you see this potential fight going down?
