UFC officials recently announced that a featherweight bout between recent title challenger Ricardo Lamas (13-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) and Hacran Dias (21-2-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is the latest addition to next month’s ‘UFC Fight Night 44’ event in San Antonio. Ricardo Lamas will be looking to rebound from his February title loss to longtime featherweight champion Jose Aldo. Prior to facing Aldo at UFC 169, Lamas had put together a four-fight win streak, which included octagon wins over Matt Grice, Cub Swanson, Hatsu Hioki and Erik Koch respectively.

UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (24-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) will once again defend his title against #1 contender Chad “Money” Mendes (16-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC), as UFC officials announced yesterday that the 145-pound rematch will serve as the headlining bout of this summer’s UFC 176 event in Los Angeles.

Former UFC light-heavyweight, Thiago Silva, was arrested back in February. Here’s the police report if you want the details. Then, in March he was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond. Silva is back with the Blackzilians and coaching kickboxing classes and according to his lawyer, who spoke with FOX Sports, Silva’s wife had the restraining order against him removed on Friday.

It’s either going to be a huge win for Shayna or this girl’s still going to be undefeated and I want to have a huge title fight. This girl will have fought four or five girls and coming after me. I’m saying, if Miesha Tate can get a title shot and she hadn’t even won a single match in the UFC then this chick who’s undefeated and beat two of my friends could be a very interesting fight for me.
