Since the UFC partnered with the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) in 2015, a lot of fighters are much happier with how things are going in the organization as far as their competition goes. UFC heavyweight “Big” Ben Rothwell is one of them. Rothwell spoke with ESPN recently on how the landscape of the UFC is changing with the increased drug testing, especially in the heavyweight division.

In a blast from the past, Shane Carwin may have just re-ignited his feud with former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. The pair fought back at UFC 116 in July of 2010 to unify the UFC heavyweight championship which was held by Lesnar, and the interim UFC heavyweight championship which was held by Carwin. Ultimately Lesnar won via 2nd round submission after being taken into deep waters earlier in the fight.

Skies the limit for the former Bellator champion these days in the UFC. Eddie Alvarez lost his octagon debut at UFC 178 back in 2014 against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. Alvarez rallied after the loss producing two straight wins against former Strikeforce champ Gilbert Melendez and former UFC champion Anthony Pettis both via split decision.

Prior to Khabib Nurmagomedov injuring his ribs at the end of last year, he was booked to return to the Octagon to fight Tony Ferguson in the co-main event of The Ultimate Fighter 22 finale. Nurmagomedov was replaced by Edson Barboza, who lost to Ferguson via 2nd round submission in what was ultimately the Fight of the Night.
