In today’s Just Scrap Friday feature, we take a look at the exciting matchup between Bruen Tavares vs. Ronston Andrade.

Tavares, representing BOSS MMA went into the fight with a 7-2 record. Experience was on Tavares’ side as Andrade, representing Team Puna went into the fight with a 1-1-1 record.

The fight got off to a quick pace as Tavares and Andrade traded with one another standing up. Tavares threw a flurry of knees that Andrade was able to defend well but soon ended up on the ground after being tied up in the clinch. Tavares held side control as the fight went to the ground and quickly transitioned to the mount position where he put on an offensive ground and pound attack. In an attempt to avoid the fight from being stopped, Andrade gave up his back where Tavares was able to flatten Andrade out and sink in a reak-naked choke forcing Andrade to tap.
