FOX Sports analyst and former UFC fighter Kenny Florian found himself under fire recently for copying his Dillashaw vs. Cruz breakdown word-for-word from a YouTube video. The mistake was pointed out on Twitter with side-by-side screenshots for comparison. Saturday afternoon FOX released a statement regarding the situation, revealing that Florian had been suspended for the incident. Following her UFC 193 KO win over Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm found herself under fire from critics for a new sponsorship deal with Hi-Tech, a company who sells products that are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Holm’s manager stated that Holm herself doesn’t use the products, but simply promotes them for the company.

While Urijah Faber and TJ Dillashaw certainly aren’t on the best of terms following Dillashaw’s departure from Team Alpha Male, it’s extremely surprising that Faber is sending someone from Team Alpha Male to assist Dillashaw’s cornermen. Justin Buchholz will be in Dillashaw’s corner along with Duane Ludwig and several coaches from the Elevation Fight Team. However the reason Faber is sending Buchholz is because he wants to ensure Dillashaw retains the belt, so he can take it from him.
