I was at home yesterday, I had just got back from a trip. I was someone’s joke on Twitter, since it was April Fools’ Day, so then I realized that it was April Fools’ Day. Then I started thinking about it. Nobody knew what would happen with the Mousasi fight, and a lot of people were saying that I should fight. So I wrote my first tweet. I counted to 7 and my phone started ringing. It was the reporter for Globo.com, these guys are fast. Now that’s what it means to be efficient. I was at home and they were calling me for the news. How is it that everyone is tricked on April Fools’!? Some people got mad, but take it easy, everyone gets tricked some day. The good thing is that people got disappointed Wand won’t be fighting this Saturday.

Fallon Fox (2-0 MMA) may be the most talked about woman in Mixed Martial Arts, at least over the past month. Fox, a transgendered athlete who was born a male, won her first bout in the CFA tournament last month before the entire situation was revealed. Since then, her story has become national news and the question of whether or not she should be allowed to fight females has been a hot topic of debate. One person who doesn’t seem to have an issue with the situation is her May slated opponent, Allana Jones (2-0 MMA). Allana has decided she will face off against Fox at the University of Miami’s BankUnited Center on May 24, promoter Jorge de la Noval of the Championship Fighting Alliance told NBC 6 the news on Monday night.

Alexander Gustafsson (15-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) was scheduled to face Gegard Mousasi (33-3-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in the main event of UFC on FUEL TV 9, which takes place in Gustafsson’s home nation of Sweden this Saturday. However, in one of his final practices, a freak accident caused a cut over his left eye.

The only way to end a show like this would be to have the reigning Invicta FC Atomweight Champ, Jessica Penne. Jessica is set to take on Michelle Waterson at Invicta FC 5 on April 5th. We are going to talk to Jessica about the upcoming match up, finishing her last three opponents, and of course how it feels to be back inside the Invicta FC cage as this will be Jessica’s third fight for the promotion. We have one half of the first set of twins to compete in MMA and it’s Jocelyn Lybarger.
