The World Series of Fighting has announced that top-ranked female fighter at 115 pounds, Jessica Aguilar (16-4), has signed a multi-year deal with the Las Vegas-based fight promotion and will make her debut appearance in the decagon in early 2014. “Women’s mixed martial arts is now a very big part of the sport and has gained so much attention and popularity in recent years, and we’re very proud to announce the launch of World Series of Fighting women’s division,” World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo said. “To not only add a women’s division, but to kick it off by signing one of the absolute best women fighters in the game is a statement to what the future holds for World Series of Fighting’s women’s division.”
