Bellator Shifts Schedule, Middleweight and Heavyweight Title Fights Swap Dates

After a grueling Middleweight Title defense on September 7th, Alexander Shlemenko will now face Doug Marshall on November 22nd from Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In its place, the Heavyweight Title fight between Vitaly Minakov and Alexander Volkov will now be featured on the November 15th fight card from Revel in Atlantic City.

It’s nothing against Daniel [Cormier]. Excellent gameplan, played it to a tee. I just wish I had two more rounds. Daniel won that night and he was the better guy, but I definitely would like to do a rematch. I’d fight anybody I’ve ever lost to.”

For reason’s I have already explained, Bjorn Rebney, the Bellator CEO, is not a good example of what the frontman of a fight promotion should be all about. (Just check out his reaction when Eddie Alvarez beat his champ.) And while I cannot say I always agree with the UFC President, at least Dana White keeps it real and does right by his fighters and fans.
