The World Series of Fighting 7 light heavyweight showdown between Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Mike “MAK” Kyle has been canceled after Kyle suffered a broken toe in training and was forced to withdraw from the contest. The new main event will be a previously announced five-round bout for World Series of Fighting’s inaugural featherweight title between Georgi “Insane” Karakhanyan (22-3-1) and Lance “Unstoppable” Palmer (7-0).

UFC president Dana White clarifies his views about the Nevada Athletic Commission after naming GSP the winner in his bout vs. Johny Hendricks. “One thing that I wanted everybody to understand that night – because people don’t understand – I wanted to make it absolutely clear that we in no way, shape, or form have any input whatsoever on the judges or the referees,” said White. “We don’t pick ’em, we have nothing to do with them, it’s the complete opposite. And, obviously, I was a little fired up on Saturday night. But, I wanted to make it absolutely clear to everybody out there watching that we have nothing to do with judges and refs, the athletic commission does, which is the government.”

Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach asked Rios trainer Robert Garcia to end Rios’ workout at 11 a.m. Macau time. Rios was scheduled to work out from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., but started late because he had done interviews. Garcia asked for a few minutes. Pacquiao was slated to work out from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
