UFC veteran Matt Hamill has retired from MMA two years after returning to action at UFC 152, after that he dropped a loss to Thiago Silva before being cut by the UFC. Hamill then was signed to make his WSOF debut this Saturday, but an injury forced him out of the bout and as a result forced Hamill’s retirement. Hamill posted the following message on his Facebook:

UFC President Dana White joined Heidi Fang for MMA Fight Corner to talk about the promotions bad relationship with the first ever UFC champion Pat Miletich. “Pat’s been sideways with us for awhile and it’s 100 percent my fault. I picked him and Newton to be the coaches of a season of The Ultimate Fighter and then I switched it. And I didn’t handle it the right way. I’ve apologized to him many times and I respect Pat Miletich a lot. I’ve fully owned up to…hurting the relationship and he deserves to be inducted and I’m excited to do it.”
