“UFC 189” was truly a beautiful disaster. The event seemed doomed weeks away from the card when Jose Aldo pulled out of his championship fight with Conor McGregor due to a broken rib. The main event was changed to an interim title fight where McGregor finished late-replacement Chad Mendes in the second round. Conor McGregor now sits atop the featherweight division alongside rival Jose Aldo, but UFC featherweight Jeremy Stephens doesn’t feel that McGregor should think he’s the real champion.

It almost looked as if her opponent didn’t even know he was in trouble until it was too late. Speaking of too late, the referee must have had a bad angle because he let that choke go on FAR too long.
