In the main event of Bellator 145 Daniel Straus put a beating on Bellator champion Patricio Freire. Freire attempted to put on a late-fight comeback where he secured back control and attempted to get a rear naked choke, however Straus showed his heart and survived the remainder of the 5th round.

It was a 5-round war between Will Brooks and Marcin Held in the co-main event of Bellator 145. It truly was a matchup of wrestler vs. submission artist, with Held securing many leg locks throughout the 25 minutes of fighting.

It was a bloody fight between Michael Chandler and David Rickels that saw Rickels bloodied and in a bad position against the cage. Chandler poured on the ground & pound while Rickels offered little in the way of defense, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

It was a quick one, but boy was it impressive! Bobby Lashley came out of the gate quick and secured a fast takedown. He then poured the group and pound strikes on James Thompson until the referee stopped the fight, earning Lashley a 1st round TKO.

It was a back and forth battle between Emmanuel Sanchez and Justin Lawrence to kick off the main card of Bellator 145 on Spike TV this evening. After 3 hard fought rounds of action, we went to the judges scorecards for a razor thin decision that ultimately came down to how the judges scored the 2nd round.

Kain Royer kept the ball rolling on the Bellator 145 preliminary card. After getting caught in a bad position early Royer fought out of a rear naked choke and a triangle choke. Ultimately, he secured a modified toe hold, giving him the submission win!

Despite a late 3rd round comeback attempt by Alex Huddleston, it wasn’t enough to steal a decision win from Augusto Sakai. Huddleston rocked Sakai hard with just seconds left in the fight, pouring on the ground and pound as the final bell sounded.
