Ronda Rousey's Coach speaks out on her UFC 193 knockout loss

BJPENN.COM News - November 15, 2015

Ronda Rousey has proven to be one of the toughest athletes to ever step foot in the octagon. She likely faced more adversity in the training room than she has in the octagon within her last couple defenses walking into UFC 193, and her confidence was through the roof in every aspect of her game. Her trip into the octagon at UFC 190 lasted less than a minute as she knocked out heavy hitter Bethe Correia in devastating fashion, becoming one of the most talked about athletes in sports today. At UFC 193, Holly Holm derailed Rousey’s path to perfection when she dealt “Rowdy” the first loss of her career. Rousey tried her best to out-strike the elite boxer Holm, but her gameplan didn’t unfold as she thought it would. Holm picked Rousey apart throughout the fight, dodging nearly every dangerous shot Rousey fired off. It wasn’t long before Rousey was on her back, vacantly staring at the lights as Holm celebrated over her unconcious body; The queen had been dethroned and the unthinkable had been done.
