Since it was revealed that Fedor Emelianenko would no longer be fighting Jaideep Singh in his return to MMA on New Years Eve, there has been much speculation as to who ‘The Last Emperor’ would be facing. Rizin FC boss Nobuyuki Sakakibara spoke to Tass.ru via BloodyElbow to discuss the most recent update to the opponent selection process for Emelianenko.

The ability to dominate and finish the opponents in the names mentioned above means he is for real.
