Is it strange to talk about Conor McGregor’s hairstyle? Some might not care, or even be upset that that the UFC featherweight champion gets as much attention as he does. However, what it ultimately comes down to is that Conor McGregor is a star. Legions of fans from around the world are simply interested in what is happening in his life beyond the fights in the Octagon. McGregor posted some photos on his Instagram account recently with his freshly shaved head, going to a look back in his earlier days before fighting in the UFC.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. stirred up a lot of conversation recently with his opinion of racism still being prevalent in combat sports. Mayweather claimed that UFC stars Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey’s success were due to them being white. McGregor responded to Mayweather with an aggressive letter and even proposed a fight with the retired boxing champion. Obviously, the claim of color being attributed to the success of McGregor and Rousey upset some, but Bellator and RIZIN veteran Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal agrees with Mayweather. Lawal spoke with the MMA Roasted podcast recently and talked about the situation as a black fighter himself.

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has posted several deep and insightful quotes on her social media pages since losing to Holly Holm at UFC 193 and having most of her fan base turn on her. While Rousey currently doesn’t have a date set for her return to the Octagon, she is currently filming several movies, including a ‘Do Nothing B***hes’ movie starring Tina Fey.

In addition to being called out by nemesis Urijah Faber, Demetrious Johnson’s coach Matt Hume posted on Facebook about a potential superfight between Cruz and flyweight kingpin Demetrious Johnson.

Dominick Cruz didn’t let the punches stop after his five-round fight with T.J. Dillashaw on Sunday. Cruz reclaimed the UFC bantamweight champion title with a split decision win over Dillashaw and threw a stiff jab at fellow UFC analyst Kenny Florian in his interview in the Octagon after being awarded the victory. “Kenny Florian, stop copying and pasting man,” Cruz said.
