This happens in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 20 on Prime Video, where the Brazilian vixen takes on Spanish challenger Cristina Morales. The event airs live in U.S. primetime from the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, March 8.

The Phuket Fight Club member has her sights on redemption after suffering a painful defeat in her last outing.

In September 2023, Rodrigues tested uncharted waters by challenging strawweight Muay Thai queen Smilla Sundell.

Despite her efforts, she fell short in her quest for a second belt in a much higher weight class.

But rather than dwelling on the defeat, she has channeled that experience into motivation for the upcoming bout.

“I always focus on my fights, but whenever I defend my belt, that focus is doubled. This time I’m not going to let anything get in my way. Nothing at all. I can’t wait to fight and show who I really am,” Rodrigues said.

Standing in Rodrigues’ way is Morales, who enters the bout with a huge victory over Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak in November 2023.

Morales brings an impressive fighting style that promises an exhilarating contest. However, Rodrigues remains confident in her abilities.

“I’ve faced the best on the circuit in several different styles. And after the last fight I had in a higher division against a girl twice my size, I can’t see any danger in anyone else,” she said.

Eager to silence any doubts and reaffirm her status as the reigning champion, Allycia Hellen Rodrigues is determined to end matters emphatically.

“I’m going in search of the knockout. I’m going to show everything I couldn’t show in the last fight. You can expect the best from me,” she said.
