UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor took to Twitter last night to announce that he was “back on” July’s UFC 200 fight card in Las Vegas.

The Notorious one

Well according to UFC president Dana White, Conor’s tweet simply is not true and the Irish superstar will not be fighting at UFC 200 on July 9. His words to TMZ:

“It’s not true. We haven’t talked to Conor or his manager since the press conference. I don’t know why he would tweet that.”

He continued:

“All the media keeps asking me that. I feel like the scene in ‘Step Brothers’ when they ask if they can build bunk beds. I don’t know how many more times I can say the fight is off or how many more press conferences I can have saying the fight is off for people to believe it is off.”
