Yodlekpet plans to step on the gas in ONE Friday Fights 157 main event against Saw Min Min

Yodlekpet Or Atchariya faces Myanmar’s Saw Min Min in the flyweight Muay Thai main event of ONE Friday Fights 157, streaming live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, June 5.

The 31-year-old multi-time Rajadamnern and Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion enters on the back of a third-round stoppage of Gingsanglek Wor Kumchamnarn that snapped his fellow Thai’s three-fight winning streak.

Saw Min Min drops down from bantamweight, brings three promotional stoppages on his record and a Lethwei background that gave him his power and his durability in equal measure. Yodlekpet knows the chin is real. His plan accounts for it from round one.

The Gingsanglek win gave Yodlekpet something that results alone cannot manufacture. He entered that fight with questions to answer after a rough patch. He left with a third-round finish and his momentum pointing in one direction again.

“I noticed that he had broken teeth, and he was visibly hurting from a body shot to the stomach. The moment I saw him wince, I stepped on the gas to finish the fight right then and there. When you see your opponent hurt, you have to go for the kill,” he said.

“Getting the win over a guy in such great form has done wonders for my confidence. It feels great to have that momentum back on my side.”

Yodlekpet believes he has one or two wins left between him and life-changing contract

Yodlekpet Or Atchariya has been close to the US$100,000 contract before. Four straight wins on his arrival in ONE Championship established him as a serious contender.

Then a rough stretch reset the progress. He has spent the last five fights rebuilding, dropping just one, and his own assessment of where the contract stands is direct.

He knows Saw Min Min is not a soft landing. The Myanmar fighter carries size, conditioning, and more promotional experience than most opponents Yodlekpet has faced.

The game plan is built around one specific answer: attack the legs first, take away the base, remove the movement that makes Saw Min Min dangerous.

“If you look at my last five fights, I’ve only dropped one, so I’m incredibly hungry to keep this winning streak alive and close the gap on that contract. If I get the win this Friday, I reckon I’m only one or two fights away from securing it,” he said.

“I’m going to heavily rely on low kicks and boxing combinations. I need to chop down his base first. Damaging his legs will take away his movement and prevent him from using his footwork to escape my pressure.”
