UFC heavyweight Ben Rothwell is hungry to get back in the cage after his scheduled co-main event fight at UFC Fight Night Dublin was canceled. Rothwell’s opponent, Stipe Miocic pulled out of the fight due to injury. Rothwell took to Twitter to campaign for an opponent calling out former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski.

Ronda Rousey, the undefeated UFC bantamweight champion is making more of a presence in pop culture. Musician Demi Lovato’s new song, ‘Stars’ references Rousey in her lyrics and the two stars exchanged high praise for one another on Twitter after Rousey stated how honored she was to be mentioned in the new song.

It was less than 24 hours ago that SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh announced that his gym had partnered with Reebok. Kavanagh posted photos on Twitter of SBG Ireland filled with all new Reebok equipment including promotional posters of Conor McGregor, and the first ever ‘Reeboktagon.’ This morning photos emerged of a shirt that Reebok released featuring a map of Ireland, which left out Northern Ireland, enraging many Irish fans.

GSP’s post to Instagram on Tuesday has even more people thinking that he is itching to get a fight in. “Rush” was in LA training once again at the infamous Wild Card Boxing Club with world-renowned trainer Freddie Roach.

As part of his plea deal for his hit-and-run case former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was ordered to make 72 separate community service appearances. Jones was already making public appearances with kids however, like doing hula-hoop races at the Boys & Girls Club, prior to being made to do so. According to TMZ ‘Bones’ reportedly made 5 appearances on Thursday alone, and received glowing reviews from coaches.

As Cathal Pendred prepares for his ‘UFC Fight Night: Dublin’ bout against Tom Breese this Saturday on UFC Fight Pass he revealed via Twitter that he was randomly drug tested for the US Anti Doping Agency. Pendred, like many fighters, is happy to see more random drug tests in an effort to clean up the sport.

Marcus Brimage found himself on the UFC’s cut list recently after they began their ‘roster purge.’ Brimage’s release didn’t necessarily come as a shock given that he’s lost 4 of his last 5 fights. While many fighters would feel discouraged by being released from the UFC, Brimage looks at it as an opportunity to better himself as a martial artist. He even has received an offer to fight for another promotion, however due to contract negotiations he refrained from disclosing the name of the promotion.

Since ‘Irish Joe’ Duffy made his UFC debut earlier this year there has been much talk of a rematch between he and Conor McGregor. Duffy defeated Conor Mcgregor back in 2010 via submission in McGregor’s 6th professional fight. His signing to the UFC set the stage for a potential rematch, but this time under the UFC banner. During a recent interview with UFC.com Dana White discussed the possibility of a UFC event being held at Ireland’s Croke Park.

Ahead of Ryan Bader’s UFC 192 co-main event fight against Rashad Evans there was much questioning as to whether or not Bader would be granted a title shot given that he was on a 4-fight win streak. Bader went on to decisively win the fight via unanimous decision, extending his win streak to 5 fights, however that may not have been enough to earn Bader his title shot.

The Irish invasion has begun in MMA, and it all started with interim UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor. Ahead of UFC Dublin this Saturday, where Joseph Duffy will square off against Dustin Poirier in the main event, Reebok released a new shirt showing a map of Ireland along with the description “Show your UFC territorial allegiance with this UFC Ireland map tee. You know in your soul the best fighters come out of Ireland, and you’re not afraid to scream your pride in the gym or at the Octagon.”

Dillashaw would be leaving Team Alpha Male to train at Elevation Fight Team in Colorado the door opened for a potential fight between Dillashaw and longtime mentor Urijah Faber. Fabio Prado, who is the head Jiu-Jitsu coach at Team Alpha Male where Dillashaw used to train, spoke to Sherdog to discuss the fight, and why he feels that the UFC won’t pass up on the opportunity to hype a fight between Dillashaw and Faber.
