“I don’t want to fight Cain (Velasquez) but I also want to start living life a little healthier, I’ve got kids now. I have a website GetFitwithDC.com and I can watch their progress as we go down together.”
Lil Nog Eyeing Shogun Rematch After This Weekends UFC on FS1 Event
BJPENN.COM News - August 15, 2013
“That fight (Sonnen) doesn’t interest me because I want to fight the best, and there are a lot of fighters that are better than him, including Shogun, Dan Henderson and Rashad Evans. Chael talks trash, he’s pure marketing. If we keep talking about him, that’s what he wants. He fought three times for the world title and got beat up. He tried to make his name when Anderson was fighting him injured, and we all saw what happened in the second fight. I want to fight again this year, absolutely. (Shogun) is good fight, a good option for me. I’m a lot better now, back to boxing training already. I have trained jiu-jitsu last Saturday and it was a little painful, but I believe I’ll be ready to train hard in a month.” “Sonnen may take him down twice, but he won’t be able to do that for five rounds. He will need to stand at some point of the fight and Shogun will tag him. I believe Shogun will knock him out.”

Sonnen: After Shogun The Plan Is To Leave Wanderlei 'Face Down and End His Career'
BJPENN.COM News - August 14, 2013
“On August 17, a fight’s going to take place and everyone’s screen saver will be Wanderlei’s face. Not scowling or pouting or pounding his fist, or stumbling with English or rolling his wrist, but watching in horror as docs try to wake his little henchman Shogun who made the mistake of cutting in line on my way to his boss, and ended up knocked out and trying to explain the loss. Sitting at the press conference table with Wanderlei outside, hailing a cab for the panic-filled ride to Logan Airport, or better still to the docks, to stow away, on a boat to Brazil to get away from this gangster right here, who will eventually will leave him face down and end his career.” During last nights edition of ‘UFC Tonight’ on FUEL TV, the Oregon Gangster, Chael Sonnen went back to targeting Wanderlei Silva, another Brazilian who has been his target for several years.
