UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was in Melbourne, Australia to promote UFC 193, an event the UFC is hoping will beat their all time attendance record come Nov. 14. Just in case you didn’t know yet, Rousey is a global superstar and wherever she goes now there is sure to be mass hysteria.

Earlier today a report came out showing that Vitor Belfort had tested positive for high testosterone levels three weeks before his title with Jon Jones and the UFC knew. They also accidentally sent the info to a group of people who weren’t supposed to see the results. After that the UFC sent out another email telling the recipients to ignore the email and delete it ASAP. So, according to the report, it seems as though the UFC knew about the test results and didn’t want anyone else to. Well Invicta FC featherweight champ Cris Cyborg caught wind of the news and took to her Facebook to voice her frustration over the double standard she feels the UFC is showing.

Nick Diaz is currently out of action after that controversial five year suspension handed to him by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. His legal team is expected to challenge it and look for a judicial review, but like all legal affairs, it will take time. During that time Diaz will be unable to fight from the looks of things. The UFC fighter recently spoke with TMZ Sports and told them, “I have to figure out how to make a living.”

UFC heavyweight Roy Nelson isn’t all that impressed with the new drug testing policy and in fact doesn’t think it’s going to change much of anything. ‘Big Country’ recently talked to FOX Sports and said that he thinks there’s very little difference, saying that fighters can still get away with using drugs just like they did before.

MMA vet Tank Abbott recently appeared on a podcast and went off on how he would destroy Ronda Rousey and any other women that wanted to fight him. No really, he did. Abbott, while on ‘The Proving Ground Podcast’, started talking about all the debate over who would win between Floyd Mayweather and UFC champ Ronda Rousey. He said of course it would be Mayweather who would destroy Rousey, who has to deal with “all this emotional stuff.”

It’s been over a week now since UFC fighter Nick Diaz was suspended for five years by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and fined $165,000. The suspension came after an alleged failed drug test at UFC 183. There were three different sets of tests results and only one came back saying he failed for marijuana. Still, the commission decided to look past that piece of information and cited past offenses and what they felt as disrespect from Diaz, as their reasons for delivering such a lengthy punishment. In the week following, the MMA world ignited with support for the fighter. UFC fighters pledged not to fight in Nevada anymore while others did their best to spread the word about a White House petition going around, looking to get the suspension lifted.

UFC light heavyweight Ryan Bader is currently on a four fight win streak, with victories over Phil Davis, Ovince St. Preux, Rafael Cavalcante and Anthony Perosh. He’ll be heading into UFC 192, which takes place Oct. 3, ready to face off with former champ and fellow TUF winner Rashad Evans.

According to a legal expert/attorney, UFC fighter Nick Diaz has a very good chance at fighting and beating his five year suspension handed to him by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. In a piece written for the Huffington Post, Amy Dardashtian says outlines how Diaz has a very solid chance of getting his controversial suspension drastically reduced or even thrown out all together.

UFC Fight Night Japan: Josh Barnett vs. Roy Nelson goes down this Saturday and will showcase a pretty exciting heavyweight in the main event, between Barnett and Nelson. It’s sure to be an exciting one and one that has a good chance of ending quickly. Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall will also meet in the octagon, in the night’s co-main event.

The feud between Duane ‘Bang’ Ludwig and Team Alpha Male’s Urijah Faber continues to move on. Last week, Ludwig talked to FOX Sports and attempted to offer of his version of an apology. He talked about some of the finical disagreements he had with Faber, but did say he is willing to apologize for anything Faber thinks he’s done wrong. Honestly, it came out like sort of a backhanded attempt at an apology.

Former UFC welterweight champion Jonhy Hendricks has had enough and says he will no longer focus on campaigning for big fights. This comes after Hendricks was passed over for a title shot by Carlos Condit. It was expected that Hendricks would be facing the champ, Robbie Lawler, for a third time. It was a fight that made sense and Hendricks did whatever he could to talk about it and build it up. Then, the UFC announced Condit would be getting the fight.

UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is currently the promotion’s biggest star. She’s everywhere these days, even outside of the MMA world, in movies and what not. Recently, the big two in the UFC have been Rousey and McGregor. Conor spends a lot of time talking about his money and the numbers while Rousey is a little more relaxed with all that. However at a recent UFC 193 press conference Rousey revealed that she’s the highest paid athlete in UFC and let everyone know it’s because of what she brings to the table, not just because the UFC’s trying to be ‘nice.’

UFC middleweight Luke Rockhold has started his training camp for UFC 194, where he’ll fight the champ Chris Weidman for the title. The fight goes down on Dec. 12 and will take place in the co-main event slot, underneath the epic Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor fight. Rockhold was just recently all over the headlines because of some of the things he said while doing a press tour with Uriah Faber to promote TUF 22 and UFC 194. According to his most recent Instagram post though, the AKA fighter is back in the gym and training for the biggest fight of his life. However, it sounds like his first session back was a rough one!

UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano hasn’t stepped in the cage since her 14 second loss to the champion Ronda Rousey. That fight was back in February and she’s been out of action since then, healing up from injuries. There hasn’t been any real word on a set return date or an opponent. Zingano was tapped as a true threat to Rousey before their fight. She was undefeated and seemed to be dominating her opponents, including Miesha Tate en route to a shot at the champ.

UFC strawweights Paige VanZant and Joanne Calderwood are set to headline the Fight Pass Exclusive event on Dec. 10, taking place in Las Vegas on the UFC’s big December weekend. It will be both of the fighter’s biggest fight to date and will serve as a great chance for the strawweight division to show off their high pace non-stop action.

We saw the UFC host an NBA team at their TUF facility in Las Vegas, to do a training session and it now it looks like the trend is starting to catch on. The NBA’s Sacramento Kings recently stopped by Team Alpha Male’s gym and ran through some workouts with Urijah Faber.

Retired UFC fighter and TUF 1 cast member Chris Leben reported to jail on Monday after being sentenced to 120 days. Leben plead guilty to breaking into his ex-wife’s apartment back in June and the judge sentenced him to 120 days in jail, along with three years of probation and a 52-week domestic violence course. Leben was also ordered to say away from his wife, Kaleena Leben, for ten years.

The current season of The Ultimate Fighter is turning out to a good one. Really, how could it not with coaches Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber. The season so far has had some really exciting fights and of course plenty of banter between the Irishmen and the Team Alpha Male fighter.
