Yushin Okami has been in the top five for a long time, you know, so he’s no slouch. At the same time, he was asking for a title shot, I felt he needed to prove his own in the weight class. So, he’s being introduced to the UFC. Down the road, if it presents itself, yeah I’d fight Hector Lombard. I’m definitely a guy that accepts any fight that the UFC throws at me, you know? For those of you who don’t already know, Soa “The Hulk” Palelei (18-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is a heavyweight mixed martial artist who has fought for both the UFC and Pride, as well as other promotions. UFC welterweight fighter, Jake Shields, is the latest addition to the BJPENN.COM Radio guest list this week. Shields is coming off an Athletic suspension for testing positive for banned substances and is rumored to be scheduled for a date with fellow Strikeforce import Tyron Woodley at UFC 161 this June.

It was announced today that a middleweight bout between Cezar “Mutant” Ferreira (5-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and C.B. Dollaway (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) has been added to the UFC on FX 8 card set for May. Ferreira most recently won “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” in 2012, where he scored a decision victory over Sergio Moraes in the tournament final. The victory over Moraes marked Ferreira’s first career decision win and also improved his record to 4-1 over the past 3 years.

The man wrapping up the show this week has seen all the madness that has happened inside the Bellator FC cage this year. Manny Rodriguez is back in the shop and that means you are in for a treat. Manny “Mean Bean” Rodriguez is one of the men who holds it down on the mic for the Bellator FC and he’s had a front seat for all the fights this year. Bellator has put on some amazing fights, some huge upsets, and an amazing season of tournament fights so far. Nick is making the most of his move to San Diego, CA and training with the rest of the team at Alliance MMA.
