This past Saturday night at UFC 159, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones (18-1 MMA, 12-1 UFC) tied the record of five consecutive successful light heavyweight title defenses set by Tito Ortiz back in 2002, by defeating challenger Chael Sonnen via TKO in the very first round. Since then, the now retired former champ, Tito Ortiz, has tweeted that he would like to keep his record from being broken:
