The self-proclaimed “Thug Jitsu Master” boasts a 41-18-1 record (9-6 UFC), with 17 of his wins coming by way of submission, and 15 of his wins coming by way of knockout including a devastating knockout against Josh Thomson at UFC 49. Most recently, Yves lost to Ultimate Fighter winner Tony Ferguson via unanimous decision during The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale on December 3rd. During the course of the interview, Jens asked, “What’ve you been up to, and what do you have coming up? When’re we going to see an Yves Edwards sighting?”

UFC 144 is set to go down on February 26 live from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. As of current date, the event is expected to be headlined by a lightweight title fight between champion Frankie Edgar and challenger Benson Henderson. The event marks the UFC’s first ever return to Japan since UFC 29 in 2000.
