The family who saved Christy Mack from more beatings is also blaming the police for letting War Machine get away. “She came running to our door. We couldn’t even tell it was a woman. My mother immediately called the cops and they hung up on her. Even Christy tried calling the cops, as well, and they hung up on her, too. It took the cops like 15 or 20 minutes to get to our neighborhood, which is just way too long. That’s crazy. We had an emergency here.”
