Following a controversial period between the second and third round where Yoel Romero was left on the stool for an extra 25 seconds after nearly being KO’d at the end of the 2nd round, Yoel Romero went out and TKO’d Tim Kennedy. Kennedy, who was rightfully upset about the situation, confronted Romero backstage about the incident.

On the main card of UFC 178, Yoel Romero defeated Tim Kennedy in the third round via TKO. The bout wasn’t without controversy however, after nearly being KO’d at the end of the second, Yoel Romero was able to get an extra 20-30 seconds between rounds after too much Vaseline was applied to his cut on his eyebrow. At the start of the third round, Romero came out dominant and TKO’d Kennedy. Here’s the full fight highlights:

Last night to kick off the Pay-Per View card, ‘Alpha’ Cat Zingano made her successful return to the UFC. In the first round, Zingano was taken into deep waters, but stayed composed and fought back to ultimately pick up the TKO win in the third round. At the post-fight press conference it was announced that Zingano would next fight Ronda Rousey for the bantamweight title.
