Recently, UFC veteran Josh Neer posted a video online of himself brutally beating a man who has since be identified as Patrick Martin. Neer explained that Martin had harassed him continually via Facebook, and finally he offered Martin a challenge to spar, which Martin accepted. At this point there are two very different stories being told. While the video shows Neer dominating the sparring session, it is only 14 seconds long, and Martin says that the rest of the round is very different than the last 14 seconds, and that Neer jumped him when he went to pick up his mouthguard.

After a few seconds of nasty elbows, several men step in to pull Neer off the man, who has been identified of Patrick Martin, at which point Neer soccer kicks the man in the face.

Emerson, who has been fighting under the Bellator MMA banner in their bantamweight division, talked about several hot topics including his past trouble with the law, the rumors about him and Ian McCall’s ex-wife and the failed drug test from his most recent fight. Emerson acknowledges that his past is riddled with not so glamorous events, from his alleged gang involvement and subsequent jail time in 2000, to his arrest in 2007 for his involvement in a brawl that took place in the lobby of a hotel . Because of his past Emerson feels like he was never given a fair shot when it came to his image, “I always wanted to let my fighting do the talking and they can judge me as a fighter. I feel like I never got a fair chance at that.”
