New details have emerged regarding Fedor Emelianenko’s return to mixed martial arts on New Year’s Eve. According to a report from Bloodyelbow, “The Last Emperor” is expected to fly over to Amsterdam on November 1st and begin training with the likes of Kirill Sidelnikov, Anatoly Tokov, Vadim German, Victor German, and Alexander Kosarev.

Bill regulating Michigan MMA could go to Government

Although MMA is regulated throughout the majority of the United States, in 13 states it isn’t. Michigan is one of those states, however a new bill that would regulate MMA has been approved and could make it to Michigan Governor Rick Snyder. MMA.tv broke the story, which stated that the bill calls for several things: “Increased promoter and event licensing fees for boxing and MMA events.” “At least one inspector to be on site during events” “Contestants have to compete in appropriate weight classes”
