If the same system is adopted by more promotions, particularly the UFC and Bellator MMA, the world of mixed martial arts will forever be changed. The announcement comes shortly after a ONE Championship fighter, Yang Jian Bing passed away while attempting to make weight for a bout.

After going on an eight-fight win streak in the UFC starting back in January 2014, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone was derailed in his title fight with lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos in 66 seconds over the weekend. Cerrone has had few things to say on his second loss to dos Anjos but congratulated the champion on a job well done.
