Donald Cerrone landed his eighth consecutive victory inside the octagon last night at UFC 187. John Makdessi walked through several leg kicks only to get his jaw broken in the second round where he eventually waved the fight off himself.

Cerrone actually walked into the fight injured himself, but confessed during the post fight press conference that he never considered pulling out of the fight.

“The option of pulling out of the fight was abso-f*****g-lutely not,” Cerrone said. “So that didn’t even cross my mind. My coaches in training, we addressed it. I told the UFC I needed an MRI with one condition: Whatever the decision was, I wouldn’t pull out of the fight. Whatever came of the MRI, that was for them.”

Cerrone has been promised a shot at the UFC Lightweight Championship by Dana White. What does the future hold in store for “Cowboy” while he recovers from his injuries?

“I see a lot of Sunday Fun-Days in my future, my friend.”
