WATCH! #TBT Irishman Conor McGregor brushes up on speaking Gaeilge language

By Russell Ess - November 5, 2015

Check out this video from back in March of UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor speaking Gaeilge to the media. McGregor who admittedly said that he needs to brush up on speaking the native tongue of Ireland, could understand the language well, but had a bit of trouble putting his words together.

According to fluentin3months:

Gaeilge, Irish, or “Irish Gaelic” is the national and first official language of Ireland, as well as one of the official languages of the European Union.

Although everyone in Ireland speaks English, there are regions known as the Gaeltacht that use Irish as the main language of communication, both in businesses and in families.

Think we will be hearing more Gaeilge coming out of the Irish superstar soon?
